Sooooo a while ago I asked Nathan if I would be able to meet him at The Wombats gig they were supporting. And he said he would try his hardest to organise something. This morning, I checked my mentions on Twitter and…
So of course I was like “OMG YAY YAYAYAYAYAY POFDGJSDOGJNDOIGN” in my head, but I just tweeted him saying “Awesomeee, thank you heaps! Really really reeeeally excited haha :D”
Then, we were on our way to my cousins place to pick her up, and I quickly checked my phone before going inside, and he had tweeted me saying:
To which I replied: “We’ll be sitting in Section 12 (:”
Then he replied…
I looked around and there were hardly ANY people around me… it was only just starting to fill with people. So I said “Not really, pretty quiet. We’re in line for merch now haha :)”
And he saaaaaaaaaaaid:
And I replied: “Inside :) On the right side of the stage btw.”
So I was staring at my phone thinking “Why isn’t he replying?!” and I kept refreshing my mentions but I had no new tweets, so I was getting worried. Then my cousin said to me “I’ll be right back, I’m just gonna see if the front desk have a pen we can use okay?” and I looked up to reply to her… and Nathan was standing RIGHT. THERE. BEHIND MY COUSIN.
My expression on my face was literally:
And then he walked up to me and was like “Are you Bec?”
I tried my hardest to reply but all I managed to do was nod and smile like an idiot. Then he put out his hand and I shook it, and he smiled at me.
On the inside I was all like “OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG NO WAY OMGGGGG”.
Then he said to me “So, how’s your day been?”
I had NOOOOOO idea how to reply, I didn’t want to sound like the biggest dickhead in the entire world, so I was like “It was… yeah… CRAZY! Haha….” and he smiled at me again -dies-
And he asked me if I wanted him to sign anything, so I handed him my Faker tshirt and he wrote:
“Hey Bec
Thanks for listening!
Nathan Faker x” on the left, and on the right he wrote “Dance!” hehehe.
When he handed it back, my cousin said “Can we get a photo?” so I got a photo with him, :D
Then some other fans noticed him, and started swarming around him, so I stepped back while he took photos with them, but I hung around a little longer.
When he was about to leave, I quickly stopped him and said “Just quickly, do you like my Faker shoes?” (I got ‘FAKER’ written on my converse hehehe)
And he said “Ohhh they are so cool! Do you want me to sign them?”
Once again, I was like “OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG” on the inside, but instead I just nodded again.
Then he crouched down on the floor and signed my shoe :’D
More and more fans were quickly running up to him, and he really had to go back to rehearse, so I said thank you again (for the 3897296276897th time) and walked back to my seat.
I instantly called my friend Chloe and I was like “DUDE I MET HIM OMG OMG OMG” and she was freaking out on the other end, hahaha.
I really quickly looked over at Nathan and he smiled back at me, and OHMYGOODNESSSSSS I NEARLY DIEEEEEEEDDDDDDD!
So yeah… that’s the story of me meeting Nathan Hudson hehe. YAAAAAAAY FOR ME!

I knew Faker were playing Big Day Out, but I wasn’t going. I told my mum, and she said “Why don’t we go down to the airport when they fly into Melbourne?” We live only 5 minutes away from the airport, so I thought about it and decided it wouldn’t hurt to ask Nathan if it was okay.
So I asked him and he replied “Of course. I don’t remember what time my flight is but I’ll find out.”
Then the next morning I checked my twitter again and he had said “We should be getting into Melbourne a bit before 2:30pm today. Virgin terminal.”
It was about 12:15pm when I got the message, and I was still half asleep in bed, so I jumped up, ran and told my mum, then had to shower and got all my Faker merch on.
We got to the airport around 2pm, and found out the flight didn’t come in til 2:35pm, so we wandered around for a bit. My mum then said “Why didn’t you bring him something? Like a present?” I then started to feel terrible, because I haven’t got him anything. But there are shops all over the airport, so we went to the closest one and picked out some bracelets for Nathan and Nic. I’m not gonna lie, they were actually pretty awesome haha.
Then when the plane arrived, we eagerly waited by the doors for them to come out. I saw Nic first, freaked, and started smiling like an idiot. Nic, Chris and Liam walked out first, and then Nathan was trailing behind slowly, looking around. He saw me and I waved, and he walked over. Exactly like the first time, I was just standing there smiling. Then I said “…Can I have a hug?” and he said “Yeah of course.” So I hugged him. We got a photo, and then talked for a bit. After a while I asked “Can I meet Nic too?” because the others had gone to stand further away while they waited for Nathan. He called Nic over but he didn’t come, so he took us over.
He introduced me to Nic and I just smiled. I then got a photo with Nic. Then Nathan said to me “And these are our new members, Chris and Liam.” They smiled and waved, and I smiled back. He turned to them and said “This is Bec.” Liam looked up from his phone and said “Oh yeah, Bec from twitter, right? You’ve told us about her before.” I’m fairly sure I died when he said that haha.
After talking for about 10 more minutes, we walked with them up to the bag claim. Nathan and I walked together and my mum walked with the others so we could talk more. Then my mum said “Can we get a photo with all of you together?” so we all lined up and we got a photo. Then we let them head off, while I stood there freaking out and happier than ever.
